CHICKEN SPINACH BACON ALFREDO
Ingredients
- Chicken breast
- Spinach
- Bacon
- Onion
- Garlic (or garlic paste)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil
- Pasta (your choice)
- Alfredo sauce
Directions:
- Bring a pot of water to boil (add pasta )
- Chop chicken, onion, garlic, bacon (1″ pieces)
- Heat skillet, add bacon pieces until crispy
- Remove cooked bacon, set aside
- Drain fat from bacon (or not)
- Add chicken pieces and chopped onions
- Add spinach to the same pan with chicken and onion once it is browned
- Cover pan to steam spinach for about 8 minutes
- Add alfredo sauce to pan, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes
- Serve
- Top pasta with chicken mixture and crumble bacon bits on top
Tips:
- spinach can be substituted with broccoli
- use 2 jars of Alfredo sauce if making 1 box of pasta
- keep pasta and chicken mixture separate so it doesn’t dry out
